The Emperors are entering into a new league with high hopes and expectations.  They will be joining the WYL which has strong programs such as Tulare Western, Hanford, Lemoore, Mission Oak and Tulare Union.  The Emperors will be led by 4 year varsity player Armando Mejia and 3 year Varsity player Keine Prendez.  They will also rely on fellow senior leaders in Jose DelaCruz, Damian Orozco, Tristen Pena, and Eli Teran. Anthony Pompa and Noah Gonzalez will also be looked on to make big contributions for the Emperors.

The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District was formed in 1905 and presently covers about 95 square miles. Because our district is in portions of more than one county (Fresno, Kings, and Tulare Counties) we are a joint district. Because our district covers more than one elementary district (Clay, Traver, Kings River, and Kingsburg Charter Elementary School) we are a union district. District facilities comprise a single 54-acre high school campus. It is interesting to note that in an election in 1910 for the purpose of raising money to purchase land for a new school, there was some opposition from those who felt that land at the corner of 18th Avenue and Sierra Street was “too far” from the center of town. Today, thanks to the support of the taxpaying citizens, Kingsburg High School students enjoy a modern, convenient educational facility

Reedley High School was established in 1918 as the first public high school in Reedley, California, and in the Kings Canyon Unified School District. It boasts one of the largest marching bands on the West Coast. Every year, Reedley High hosts a CMEA Music Festival.
